Giving of time and talent is one of the oldest forms of service and helps us live out our faith in the world. Volunteers are the backbone of a strong community and we are grateful for any help you wish to provide in making SHUC a better place.

We are always seeking people willing to help out during or after worship, or to provide support at one of our regular events. There are many ways to provide support and care in our community.

There are many opportunities to volunteer with Shaughnessy Heights United Church. Our volunteers and community members help out by:

  • Providing coffee at after-service fellowship
  • Reading scripture or providing prayers during worship
  • Singing in our choir
  • Joining one of our Social Justice meetings
  • Assisting with event set up (See our calendar for a list of upcoming events)
