Whether you’ve been going to church for years, haven’t been in ages, or have never set foot in a church before — from long time believers to the merely curious seekers — we have a place for you.
As an affirming congregation, we are honoured to provide a safe and holy space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

You’ll find us gathering for worship on Sunday mornings. We embrace excellent music, challenging sermons that connect faith with life and stimulating educational programs for all ages. You’ll also find that we strive to express our beliefs through year-round community building initiatives.

Lots of Christians don’t want to talk about money matters in church, or its relationship to their faith. At Shaughnessy Heights United Church, your financial gifts help us live and move and have a meaningful presence in the world around us. Your generous giving represents service to our faith community and our neighbours. For almost 100 years we have faithfully used donations to serve God’s dream right here in Vancouver and around the world.
There are many ways to donate, if you are able: You can give online, you can use Pre Authorized Remittance (comes right out of your bank account), or you can write monthly cheques, or provide weekly donations through the plates in our foyer. Whichever way you choose and whatever amount you give, you can be happy that your gifts join many others in providing love to the world.
