Please note that with COVID-19, though we are still doing Baptisms, some of our practices have changed in alignment with current health and safety measures.

Please contact the office at 604-261-6377 or admin@shuc.ca for more information.

From the earliest period of the church, Christians have understood baptism to be the grounding element of their faith uniting all believers and joining them with Christ.  Jesus’ ministry began with his own baptism.

We view baptism – whether infant, young child, or adult candidate – as a gift from God. It is an event of joyful acknowledgement and celebration, often with an extended family present.

To learn more about baptism, and what it might mean for you and your family, contact a minister through the SHUC office.
